A gifted actor, singer, dancer, and choreographer, she is based in Manhattan, and her many talents have been showcased at renowned venues spread across the five boroughs.
She received her BFA in Theater Arts Performance and a dance minor from Hofstra University where she studied an impressive range of classical and temporary theatrical styles as well as acting for TV and film. She has received many an accolade for her work as choreographer for the Hofstra University Department of Drama and Dance and is proud to have been twice offered the opportunity to return to her alma mater to contribute her choreographic skills post grad.
Whitney is a highly qualified drama and dance instructor with 16 years of experience working with children. She has been on staff with several youth theatrical programs and summer camps in her state of Massachusetts, and she worked recently as a dance instructor with Fit 4 Life NYC, teaching creative movement within the New York Charter School system. She is a faithful student to the acting method named for creator, Sanford Meisner, as well as continuing to train with the school at the Mark Morris Dance Group. Whitney finds great joy in cultivating the next generation of actors; her classes are informative, challenging, and most of all, fun.
